من المعروف أن مايكروسوفت قد أطلقت النسخة الرسمية والنهائية من تطبيقها Xbox Game Pass على أندرويد، ولكن في خطوة أصبح لها أهمية كبيرة بين أوساط المستخدمين، فقد أطلقت الشركة نسخة الاختبار العام من تطبيقها هذا على المتجر، طبعًا أهمية هذا الإطلاق تكمن في تجربة المستخدمين المزايا المنوي إطلاقها على النسخة الرسمية لاحقًا، بمعنى تجربة المزايا الجديدة قبل الجميع، كذلك مع هذه النسخة يستطيع المستخدم نقل اقتراحاته وآرائه حول نقطة ما أو حول ميزة يُستحب وضعها في التطبيق، عمومًا لمن لا يعرف هية التطبيق فهو يسمح لملاك أجهزة إكس بوكس بتصفح مكتبة Game Pass بهدف الإطلاع على أحدث الألعاب مع دعمه جدولة تحميل الألعاب وميزات أخرى.
